Why this event, why now.
For nearly two decades, re:publica has convened Europe's most important conversation on the digital society. The 2026 Bangkok edition marks its first sustained presence in Asia, bringing together technologists, policymakers, researchers, journalists and civil-society leaders for eight days of plenaries, workshops and open sessions at BITEC Bangna. The agenda spans AI governance, platform regulation, digital rights, the future of work, climate technology and the cultures emerging online.
